March 30, 2001 - The March 2002 issue of The American Astronomer, the quarterly newsletter from the American Association of Amateur Astronomers, will be mailed to all current AAAA members.
We are excited about the current edition, and hope you will enjoy reading about Comet Ikeya-Zhang and Ernie Piini's interesting account of his expedition to Costa Rica for the Annular Eclipse last December.
We also have Brenda Culbertson's regular article on observing, this time a trip through the Virgo Cluster of Galaxies, a visit to CosmicMark Cunningham's web site, and a chance to get "mooned" by our own Roseann Johnston.
There is also a report on the Lake Whitney Astronomy Day Star Party and how AAAA helped out event organizer Thomas Williamson, who is also an AAAA member.
The latest issue of The American Astronomer newsletter is a benefit for current members of the AAAA. However, a PDF archive of issues more than one year old can be found on the AAAA website.
